Approving and Requesting Revisions

Feature Purpose

Would you look at that — you're in the final stretch of getting your influencer campaign set up! Time flies when you're managing outreach emails. Once you've completed the ground work with contracting, NDAs and any other agreements, you can start focusing on the creative part. Typically, the more information you can provide your influencer about the direction of the assets the better, to reduce revisions and speed up time to launch. Luckily, this whole process is streamlined within the outreach module to ensure managing revisions is a breeze. So without further ado, let's dive into the revisions workflow.

Step-by-Step Process

    1. After logging in, you will land on your campaign list page
    2. Click on the campaign where you would like to start your outreach
    3. Click on Influencers in the sub-navigation
    4. Click on the influencer who has accepted the opportunity and associated documents
    5. In the right side panel, ensure your Platform and desired content is updated to match the required number of assets for each format
      • For example, when selecting Instagram, you can specify the amount of Reels, Stories and Posts individually.
    6. Once updated, you'll be able to see a summary of all channels below the pricing suggestions, under Content count
    7. If all content amounts look good, use the Agreement dropdown in the upper right corner to select Accept, or use the Accept button at the bottom of the email composer.
    8. A modal will appear to confirm your agreement, and continue to the content guidelines and direction
    9. The number of assets will appear in a collapsible menu, expand each asset to provide:
      • Date for Initial Content Submission (optional)
      • Date for Final Content Submission
      • Date for Posting on their Account
      • Video Guidelines for Direction
    10. Choose Update & Close to apply your dates and direction
    11. Last but not least, you'll receive a link that can be shared directly with your influencer, similar to a Magic Link, where they can view your inputs per asset and provide the assets to review.
    12. Once they upload an asset, you'll be able to view it and provide feedback within the Revisions tab in the left side panel
    13. Similar to the Outreach section, you can reply within the Revisions tab to easily keep track of versions.
    14. Once a revision is sent, you can update your video guidelines if needed in the right side panel
    15. When an influencer responds with a second version, the right side panel will update with tabs linked to each version, so you can easily jump back and forth to view the applied changes.

Frequently Asked Questions

What's the difference between a Creative Brief and Video Guidelines?

Great question, both are incredibly useful, yet neither are mandatory so you can decide which option works best for you. However, there are some slight differences to when they appear within the workflow. A Creative Brief can be sent to an influencer prior to the influencer accepting the opportunity, whereas Video Guidelines . For example, if their personal brand or content does not align with the creative brief, they may choose to decline the opportunity. As mentioned above, Video Guidelines can be added once an influencer has accepted the opportunity, and you're ready for them to provide assets.

My influencer lost the link to upload their revisions, can I resend it?

That's okay, accidents happen! Using the revisions link isn't a mandatory part of the process but it's a huge benefit to be able to track all the changes, across all your campaigns, using the Revisions tab. So you can send your influencer the link again by copying the link provided above the revisions list, within the revisions tab. Let them know it helps keep track of versions and to help streamline payments.
