Approving and Requesting Deliverables

Feature Purpose

Would you look at that — you're in the final stretch of getting your influencer campaign set up! Time flies when you're managing outreach emails. Once you've completed the ground work with contracting, NDAs and any other agreements, you can start focusing on the creative part. Typically, the more information you can provide your influencer about the direction of the assets the better, to reduce revisions and speed up time to launch. Luckily, this whole process is streamlined within the Deliverables section to ensure managing revisions is a breeze. So without further ado, let's dive into the revisions workflow.

Step-by-Step Process

  1. After logging in, you will land on your campaign list page

  2. Click on the campaign where you would like to continue your outreach

  3. Click on Collaborations in the sub-navigation

  4. Click on the influencer who you would like to reach out to, or have been in conversation with already.

  5. Once you send an initial message, you will see Accept and Reject buttons appear at the top right corner of the screen. Upon clicking Accept, a pop-up window will appear to Request New Deliverables.

  6. By default, the Content Type will match the platform of the specific influencer. If you have included any instructions for the influencer to cross-post on their other accounts, you can include additional formats by clicking "Add another."

    • If you've chosen an influencer on TikTok, you'll see options for Spark Ads Authorization, which you can learn more about here.
  7. Once you've completed adding all requested assets, click Next in the bottom right corner of the window.

  8. The following screen will allow you to send the Deliverables page to your influencer, so they can upload each asset for you to review. You can choose to send a pre-formatted email from the Lickly platform, or copy and paste the link into your existing thread with the influencer.

  9. After closing the pop-up window, navigate to the Deliverables page

  10. You'll see a list of all the influencers with the option to expand each, to view all assets requested of each influencer.

  11. On the right side of each influencer row, you can modify deliverables at any time during the production process. This could be due to a change in schedule, budget or conflicts with the influencer.

  12. You can also cancel deliverables at anytime by clicking the trash can icon in the upper right corner of the modify deliverables pop-up window.

  13. To view the status of each asset, simply expand each row. The status will update automatically based on the actions below:

    • Pending: Waiting for the influencer to provide assets

    • Reviewing: Influencer has provided an asset to be reviewed
    • Revising: Feedback has been sent to the influencer for a new version
    • Posting: The asset has been approved, and the influencer can proceed to post
    • Live: Once the asset is linked in the platform, performance will be tracked in Performance Dashboard
  14. Once your influencer has submitted content, you can mark assets as approved or rejected. Simply expand the influencer view in Deliverables to see all assets, and then click on each asset row.

  15. A new tab will open with the asset provided. You can leave feedback if needed, or mark as approved in the upper right corner.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I enable cross-posting?

Great question, we don't currently have a built-in cross-posting feature within Lickly, however each asset you request when requesting or modifying deliverables will appear in your performance dashboard. So we recommend including a cross-posting clause in your proposal and contract to your influencer if you want them to post the video across all their social channels. Then, simply add the link to each asset once they have been posted to sync with your campaign's Performance Dashboard.

My influencer lost the link to upload their revisions, can I resend it?

That's okay, accidents happen! Using the deliverables link isn't a mandatory part of the process but it's a huge benefit to be able to track all the changes, across all your campaigns, using the Deliverables tab. So you can send your influencer the link again by clicking the link icon in the influencer's row (next to the Modify deliverables button) and send it over to them again.
