Creating Document Templates
Feature Purpose
At Lickly, we understand that repetitive processes are not fun. In fact, we aim to create features that help you work smarter, not harder. That's why we've created Document Templates so you can simply update your most frequently used documents to meet the needs of every influencer agreement or creative brief in every campaign! Sounds like a great way to save time on Influencer Outreach right? Right! So let's get started with templates!
Step-by-Step Process
- After logging in, you will land on your campaign list page
- Click on the campaign where you would like to start your outreach
- Click on Collaborations in the sub-navigation
- If you haven't already approved or recommended influencers, you can do so by following these steps.
- Click on Documents, above your list of influencers
- On the right side of the screen, click on the Add New Document button
- A dropdown will appear with different options to categorize your document:
- Unilateral NDA
- Mutual NDA
- Creative Brief
- Influencer Contract
- Click on the most appropriate option that suits your purpose.
- The document "type" will be saved to your document library, so you can filter based on document type when searching for a specific document
- A text editor will appear with fields for the document title and body. You must provide a title before saving the document to your templates, but you can return to make changes to your template at anytime.
- The in-platform editor has robust options to add to your document, including the ability to highlight sections, include signature fields, and insert images and hyperlinks. Simply use the toolbar that appears below your cursor, or click the plus button when starting a new line.
- Once you've completed editing your document, you can save it as a template by clicking the Save as Template button in the top right corner.
- Once a template is saved, it will appear in the Templates list below the contracting integrations.
- You will also be able to view which influencers have been sent the template, across all campaigns.
Frequently Asked Questions
How do I modify a template to send?
There's no right or wrong order to either creating a document first and turning it into a template, or templating first and then personalizing later! But if you have your template saved, simply click on the Document and choose Send. From here, you should see your list of approved influencers, and you can select one or multiple to send the document to. Be aware, if you're sharing a personalized version, we recommend sending it to one influencer at a time.
