Running Brand Safety Checks
Feature Purpose
Brand Safety checks are a great step for determining if an influencer is a great match for your campaign. Separate to the Lickly score, you may be wondering if the influencer has posted any conflicting content, that you may want to review before confirming a partnership with them. Luckily, you've come to the right place. Running a Brand Safety Check will scan the number influencer's posts you determine for any harmful substances or objects, offensive content or legal issues.
Step-by-Step Process
- After logging in, you will land on your campaign list page
- Click on the campaign that has audiences you would like to view
- Select Audiences from the campaign subnavigation
- If you have not yet added audiences to your campaign, you can do so in the Universal Audiences section, or add them directly into the campaign.
- Click on the Influencer List button that has influencers you would like to check
- If you have not yet generated Influencer Lists, click on one of the buttons and continue on once the list has loaded.
- The Brand Safety column in the influencer table includes buttons for each influencer in the list to initiate their Brand Safety Check. Click on the button in the row of the influencer you would like to start the check on.
- A modal will appear to configure how many posts you would like scanned:
- Full Check - Scans all available content
- This will scan all of the influencer's available content and therefore can take a while to process, but don't worry — we'll send you an email once the brand safety check is complete.
- Custom Check - Choose scope
- When selecting this option, you can determine the exact number of posts you would like scanned in order of recency. Once you input your desired number, it will let you know if you have enough credits, and if you need to purchase more.
- Full Check - Scans all available content
- Once the Brand Safety Check is complete, you will receive an email notification, and you can view details within the Brand Safety page within the same campaign.

Brand Safety flags are determined at the campaign level, which can be set when creating the campaign from the campaign list page. Then simply save your campaign to have the changes reflected in the Brand Safety page.
